Description: Volunteer in Bolivia with ELI. We offer volunteer placements in a children's home in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. The home administers a very supportive program that gives children aged three to 18 a solid grounding in English and vocational skills. About 400 children live on the campus, consisting of 11 homes. There is a day nursery, a school, a single mothers' institution and separate homes for teenage boys and girls. You can choose where you'd like to work. You can teach English, help with homework or lead arts classes.

Highlights: A worthwhile cause in the beautiful tropical lowlands of Bolivia.

Typical Volunteer: There is no typical ELI volunteer. We work with people from all over the world and a variety of backgrounds. ELI has placed volunteers ranging in age from 18-81. Successful volunteers are flexible, upbeat, energetic, and inquisitive.
