ELI, a non-profit organization, offers placements in schools for the deaf, the blind, and children with Down Syndrome. You can choose which of these worthy projects you wish to help. There is much you can do, helping the students learn the basic skills of life as well as bringing in new things to enrich their daily existance. If you have a particular skill or interest, you will find a very appreciative audience.

Typical Volunteer: There is no typical ELI volunteer. We work with people from all over the world and a variety of backgrounds. ELI has placed volunteers ranging in age from 18-81. Successful volunteers are flexible, upbeat, energetic, and inquisitive.
